Christina Green Rankin

 A Clearwater native, Christina Green Rankin joined The Law Offices of Richard D. Green in 2003. She works in the areas of wills, trusts, and estate planning, guardianships, and probate and trust administration.

 

Education

Christina Green Rankin was a National Merit Scholar and attended the University of Florida on a full academic scholarship. She graduated with honors from the Fisher School of Accounting in May of 2000, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May of 2003.  While in law school, she earned four “book awards” for her best-in-class efforts in Estates and Trusts, Fiduciary Administration, Income Taxation of Estates and Trusts, and Legal Drafting.  She also served as a staff attorney summer law clerk with the 8th Judicial Circuit Probate Court.

Elected by her peers to the Board of Directors of the Clearwater Bar Association 2014-2019

Community Involvement

Christina Green Rankin is a past treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Clearwater Bar Association.  She is also serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of the Suncoast, as a Board Member and past president of the Rotary Club of East Lake Sunrise, and as a member of the Pinellas County Estate Planning Council.  In addition, she is a member of the American Cancer Society Estate Planning Operating Committee, the Ruth Eckerd Hall Planned Giving Committee, the Financial Counseling Service for Morton Plant Mease Foundation, and the Suncoast Hospice Planned Giving Advisory Council.

As President of the Rotary Club of East Lake Sunrise, Christina Green Rankin received recognition as the District small club President of the Year, the Club was honored as the medium sized District Club of the Year, and Rotary International awarded it the prestigious Presidential Citation and Changemaker awards.

During her leadership tenure with the Clearwater Bar Young Lawyers Division, Ms. Rankin worked on a number of initiatives to positively impact the community.  She acted as the chair of the lawyer-student mentor program “Legal Eagles Homework Help,” as a co-chair for “Holidays in January” for at-risk youth, and as the chair of the Clearwater Bar Judicial Reception to honor our local judiciary.  Christina Green Rankin was also designated to represent the organization at the Florida Bar YLD Affiliate Outreach Conference from 2004 through 2008, during which time the Clearwater Bar was awarded multiple statewide awards, including Outstanding Bar Leadership and Member Service Project for the Judicial Reception and Public Service Project Grant for Legal Eagles Homework Help.
